Raised suspension gives the Carryall 550 163mm ground clearance and a comfortable ride via independent front leaf spring and rear semi-independent leaf spring suspension and dual hydraulic shocks.
Club Car's SportDrive with self-compensating double reduction helical rack & pinion delivers a smooth ride and making the vehicle easy to handle even with a full load.
The Carryall 550's power source can be delivered by either an electric or petrol engine. Making short work of tough jobs both models can haul full loads up gradients with ease and reach 27 kph.
The electric models built for efficiency and performance have low-end torque, produces zero-emissions, and quiet to operate, making the 550 an enjoyable working and driving environment. The 48-volt lead-acid battery charges via a 650w high-frequency charger with a retractable cable which plugs directly into any 240-volt socket.
The petrol Kohler Command PRO engine developed exclusively for Club Car incorporates a closed-loop electric fuel injection engine which continuously adjusts engine performance to delivering excellent fuel economy and reliable startup.
The Carryall 550 have four-wheel mechanical drum brakes and a foot-operated multi-lock park brake. The electric models include electronic regenerative braking under deceleration and an emergency stop button.
The standard models have halogen headlights, rear tail and brake lights with the option to upgrade to LED lights. Additional standard safety features include amber beacon and automatic audible warning in reverse.
The uncabbed Carryall 500 is ideal for indoor use or where inclement weather isn't an issue.
