Three Goupil G2's deliver a feast at Soho Farmhouse

In the idyllic Oxfordshire countryside, we supplied three Goupil G2 box vans to an exclusive outdoor retreat. 

Tucked between the Cotswold villages of Chipping Norton and Great Tew resides Soho Farmhouse.  A luxurious sanctuary, described by the Daily Telegraph as, "boutique hotel, meets Canadian wilderness cabin, meets American country club."

Amongst the 100-acres of beautiful countryside, Soho Farmhouse offers a range of accommodation; an 18th-century Cotswold-stone Farm House, Fourty; one, two and three-bedroom cabins; Piglets and teepees complete with armchairs and a wood-burning stove.

Activities include a Cowshed spa and gym, an Electric Cinema, and an indoor-outdoor pool floating on a lake plus much more.

In keeping with Soho Farmhouses' quirky style, guests can travel around the site in restored vintage 1950s milk floats.  Milk floats have also been converted into cocktail floats delivering cocktails as and when guests wish.  

With a penchant for keeping things eclectic, electric, stylish and sustainable Soho Farmhouse required transportation for their restaurant services.  Manufactured in the South of France set amongst vineyards and farmhouses the Goupils already have some of that Soho Farmhouse DNA. 

With several restaurants onsite which conjure up wonderful culinary delights, guests can request dining at their accommodation, and the G2's 
whiz around delivering an à la carte takeaway.  

The box van body with a 533kg payload and 1.25m3 capacity is perfectly sized to transport a feast to guests lodges.  The van body's square design and absence of wheel arches lends itself to customisation; the Soho Farmhouse vehicles have partitions inserted to accommodate four hot boxes.  Installed with DC invertors and 13A sockets the hot boxes can remain plugged in keeping the food warm whilst in transit. 

Almost silent, the electric G2's perform deliveries in stealth mode without disturbing other guests.  The Soho Farmhouse Goupils' are powered by 100Ah lithium-ion battery, offering flexible charging and 37 mile (WLTP) range.

Finished in duck egg blue, the G2's look striking, matching the other vehicles on site.
