MyTime Active, a social enterprise dedicated to improving overall wellbeing and promoting an active lifestyle, has recently made a significant investment of £650,000 in a fleet of 85 state-of-the-art electric Club Car golf buggies from Bradshaw Electric Vehicles. The investment aims to elevate the golfing experience for members across its community golf courses, making golf accessible to everyone.
With a focus on sustainability and reliability, the new golf buggy fleet replaces the previous diesel models, offering improved efficiency and reduced environmental impact. Equipped with built-in GPS technology, the brand-new Club Car Tempo buggies are designed to provide golfers with an unparalleled level of comfort and convenience.
The arrival of the new golf buggies has been met with enthusiasm across all eight locations. In the southeast, Orpington Golf Centre, Bromley Golf Centre, High Elms Golf Course, and Cobtree Manor Park Golf Course now boast the latest electric buggies. In Birmingham, Hatchford Brook Golf Centre, Lickey Hills Golf Course, Pype Hayes Golf Course, and Dibden Golf Centre near Southampton have also been equipped with the new fleet.
By introducing these cutting-edge golf buggies, MyTime Active aims to elevate the golfing experience for its members while promoting a greener and more efficient approach to the sport. This investment stands as a testament to MyTime Active’s commitment to excellence and innovation in the world of community golf.
“We wanted to enhance our members’ experience when they join us to play golf, and these new buggies mean an overall better customer experience,” explains Chris Deadman, Head of Operations at Mytime Active. “Also, thanks to the high quality, energy-efficient batteries, the buggies have a better capacity, which will increase overall availability.
“We can track usage of the new Club Car buggies, which will greatly help us to reduce breakdowns and improve reliability, as we can ensure they all get used equally and regularly. This is a big investment for Mytime Active, and it will help ensure we continue bringing golf to everyone in the communities we serve. Buggies increase accessibility to golf for our more elderly members and those with limited movement, helping us improve overall wellness in communities as a result.”
Jason Stanton, CEO of Mytime Active, says: “Mytime Active strives to go above and beyond and champion active lifestyles for all our communities. These new buggies will help us continue to have a positive impact on overall health and wellbeing by making golf accessible to all. This investment is about future-proofing our members’ enjoyment and wellness.”
Ramsy Labassi, Marketing Manager at Bradshaw Electric Vehicles, commented, “We are delighted Mytime Active decided to partner with Bradshaw EV and Club Car as their preferred golf buggy provider. With the combination of an award-winning golf buggy from Club Car and dedicated customer support and service from Bradshaw, we will help deliver upon Mytime Active’s mission to improve wellbeing in their communities.”
“With its significant investment, MyTime Active continues to demonstrate its commitment to providing exceptional facilities and experiences for its members, further enhancing the reputation of its community golf courses.”
