Passenger Assistance Vehicle Operator Course Overview
The passenger assistance vehicle operator course provides the trainees with all the required knowledge and information regarding health and safety requirements and safe operating practices that are required to be conducted by the operator whilst operating a passenger assistance vehicle.
The course includes both theoretical and practical training and covers a full overview of the controls and functions of the vehicle along with the safe driving operation of the vehicle in your place of work. The course also includes a theory and practical assessment to basic operating standards. On successful completion, the operator is issued with a certificate of basic training to manufacture training standards.
Training Legislation
Due to legislation requirements, we can train a maximum of 3 people per day on the Passenger assistance vehicle operator course.
Training Course Start/Finish Times
The passenger assistance vehicle course runs for a total of 1 day. The course will run from 09:30am – 16:00pm and any breaks taken at an appropriate time for the trainees.
Qualifications
All operators must be present throughout their course to be eligible for assessment. On successful completion of the course, the operator will receive a ‘Safe Use and Care of Bradshaw Vehicle’ certificate, which is valid for two years. For best practice Bradshaw fully recommend the operator to attend the operator refresher course every two years.
