Bradshaw Electric Vehicles, one of the UK’s leading waste management utility vehicle suppliers, is set to reveal an exciting new announcement next week that will see the company extend its growing waste management vehicle portfolio.
On September 10th Bradshaw will formally announce that it has agreed a new distribution agreement with a market leading waste collection brand, which will feature a 100% electric, pedestrian-operated street vacuum cleaners designed to collect urban and industrial waste.
The new vehicle range is set to complement their existing offering, with Bradshaw currently acting as the sole distributor for the Goupil utility vehicle range in the UK, renowned for their adaptability in both waste collection and urban logistics operations.
The new model will be unveiled alongside Bradshaw’s new RCV Goupil range at the upcoming RMW Expo at Birmingham’s NEC later this month where the company will also be showcasing its new RCV Goupil G4 and pedestrian-controlled PFB1500.
Both vehicles within the RCV range are all-electric, compact, and agile vehicles, designed for urban waste collection, offering various body configurations such as high-tip, bin lift, compaction arms, and food waste collection options for confined and pedestrian areas.
The Goupil range, part of the Polaris Group, continues to gain traction across public and private sectors, particularly for waste collection and street-cleansing applications, driven by the growing need for zero-emission, highly manoeuvrable vehicles in congested and pedestrianised environments.
Ramsy Labassi, Marketing Manager at Bradshaw Electric Vehicles commented: This new distribution agreement is a significant step forward for Bradshaw and an important addition to our waste management portfolio, enabling us to offer customers an even broader choice of zero-emission solutions that address the full spectrum of urban and industrial waste collection needs.
“Together, these vehicles give local authorities, contractors, and private organisations the flexibility they need to meet tightening environmental targets while maintaining high operational efficiency.
“We look forward to showcasing the full line-up at RWM, where visitors will be able to see first-hand how these innovations can transform waste management in pedestrianised and congested environments.”
Also speaking of the RCV range, which was launched earlier this year, and will also be showcased on the Bradshaw stand, Ramsy also said: “As a company that is continually looking to innovate and respond to the evolving needs of its customers, we have introduced our new RCV range to offer a more sustainable and efficient solution for urban waste collection.
“Urban zones are becoming increasingly difficult for traditional waste collection vehicles to navigate due to rising congestion, restricted-access zones, low-emission regulations, and the continued pedestrianisation of city centres and high streets.
“However, our new compact RCV range has been purpose-built to overcome these challenges, offering local authorities and waste contractors a practical and zero-emission alternative that can easily access tight spaces and operate safely in areas with high pedestrian footfall.”
