Club Car, a global leader in small-wheel, zero-emissions vehicle production, proudly announced the grand opening of the new Club Car Appling Manufacturing Facility. The event was marked with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and tours of the new facility, graced by the presence of Georgia Governor Brian Kemp and First Lady Marty Kemp, along with other state and local elected officials and business leaders.
“Club Car is bringing jobs into Georgia in the growing e-mobility sector and leading the way in compact utility EV manufacturing,” Governor Kemp remarked during the event, lauding the company’s significant contributions to the state’s economy and its commitment to maintaining Georgia as a prime business destination.
The 105,000 sq. ft. Appling Facility represents Club Car’s ongoing dedication to meet the growing demand for its vehicles in the U.S. with a customer-focused approach. Club Car has committed a substantial $8 million capital investment into the flexible production and warehouse space over two years, capable of producing up to 20 vehicles daily on its state-of-the-art production line.
Club Car’s President and CEO, Mark Wagner, expressed his excitement over sharing the company’s impact on commercial fleet electrification, mini-mobility, and last-mile delivery with the governor and first lady. “As a Georgia-based company for more than sixty years, we are proud of the quality, safety and reliability that our team builds into every Club Car product – that’s the Club Car difference.”
