The Club Car Villager wheelchair access buggy provides safe and comfortable transport for 6 passengers and a wheelchair passenger.
The villager wheel access vehicle is popular with private estates, National Trust properties, schools, hospitals, hospitality, tourist venues and commercial sites, enabling safe and comfortable transportation for all passengers.
A manual aluminium ramp allows for effortless boarding and conveniently folds up when not in use.
The Villager wheelchair buggy is fitted with seat belts to ensure the safety of all passengers, and a BraunAbility restraint secures a wheelchair firmly in place.
Combined with self-adjusting rack & pinion steering and front and rear independent leaf spring suspension with dual hydraulic shocks, the Villager 6 is effortless to drive and provides unrivalled levels of comfort to all passengers.
Utilising the Club Car Villager chassis, the wheelchair access vehicle is constructed from aircraft-grade aluminium, making it more than three times more durable than steel buggies. The vehicles panels are made from Club Cars ArmorFlex thermoplastic resin.
With a choice of Electric or petrol engines, both powertrains provide outstanding power and performance.
A 48-volt battery powers the electric zero-emission Villager 8 with smart onboard chargers, which can be charged through any 240-volt socket. Power cable reel retractors reduce operator errors and stores the power cable tidily away in the vehicle's nose cone.
The petrol model is powered by a 429 cc Kohler with an overhead valve EFI engine which produces 14.0 hp (10.3 kW)
Calke Abbey, a National Trust site in Derbyshire, recently purchased a wheelchair accessible vehicle to transport people with reduced mobility.
