Leading passenger and event vehicle provider, Bradshaw Electric Vehicles, has sold a Club Car Villager Wheelchair Access Buggy to the Suffolk-based National Trust property, Melford Hall.
Since 1998 Bradshaw has become the leading supplier in the UK for Club Car, the industry's foremost name in golf buggies, passenger vehicles, and utility vehicles.
During this time Bradshaw has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality, reliable vehicles tailored to the unique needs of heritage sites, estates, and leisure facilities across the UK. Their partnership with Club Car has enabled National Trust properties like Melford Hall to enhance visitor experiences, particularly for those with mobility challenges.
The vehicle has been purchased by the property to improve accessibility at the site, helping to transport passengers from the car park to the entrance of the 16th Century red brick mansion house.
Offering a comfortable and durable solution for transporting passengers safely around large-scale sites, the Club Car Villager Wheelchair Access Buggy has grown in popularity in recent years.
As venues look to enhance visitor experience and accessibility on their premises, the vehicle has been adopted by a number of private estates up and down the UK.
With a capability of transporting up to five passengers at a time, the Wheelchair Access Vehicle is ergonomically designed for comfort and safety and is equipped with a spacious wheelchair ramp as well as secure seating, offering smooth access for wheelchair users while still maintaining the high standards for passenger safety.
Melford Hall opted for an electric 48-volt lithium battery option over a petrol-powered engine in line with the National Trust’s efforts to reduce emissions and tackle climate change.
Ramsey Labassi, Marketing Manager at Bradshaw EV commented: “As shown in its use across several estates across the UK, the Club Car Villager Wheelchair Access Buggy offers a robust and efficient solution for transporting passengers of all capabilities.
“The National Trust take customer experience and inclusivity extremely seriously, so we were delighted to support their efforts in creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for all by supplying a vehicle that will help ensure that every visitor can fully enjoy the beauty and history of Melford Hall.”
Lisa Robinson, Welcome Manager at Melford Hall also said: “The addition of the Club Car Villager Wheelchair Access Buggy to our visitor offering has been a great success, providing an environmentally friendly solution to transporting visitors of all ages and abilities between our car park and house. It reflects our ongoing commitment to accessibility and sustainability, ensuring everyone can enjoy this beautiful historic property.”
