25-Tonne Tow Tractor

The T2500 designed for optimum towing performance and efficiency comes fully equipped to carry out everyday operations with ease.
Incorporating a 40mm pin multi jaw tow hitch the 25-tonne tow tractor includes inching buttons as standard providing extra control and precision.  An extensive list of optional coupling hitches and sizes are available for the front and rear to suit operational requirements. 

The T2500 with its AC controller, offers responsive acceleration, agile handling, precise acceleration and electronic speed control.  The 25-tonne tow tractor is a rapid performer, with a maximum speed of 20kph the T2500 can be pre-set between 8-20kph to cover large sites with ease.   Built-in speed sensors prevent over-speeding in all driving conditions, and the optional dash-mounted high/low-speed switch gives the operator additional levels of control.

The T2500 offers an ergonomic and comfortable operating environment
with an adjustable single semi-suspension driver’s seat and fixed passenger seat.  The low entry point either side of the cab allows for quick and easy entry and exit for stop-start operations.

With reduced torque steering combined with the AC controller, the T2500 is easy to operate and minimises operator fatigue and maximising productivity.  

With five individual braking systems, the tow tractor, operator and pedestrians are safely protected.

The electric tow tractor incorporates servo-assisted braking with front drum brakes, and inboard oil-immersed disc brakes to the rear wheels and automatically applied park brakes.

Electronic regenerative braking under deceleration and dynamic speed sensing prevents over-speeding, and automatic hill hold secures the 25-tonne tow tractor on inclines without driver input preventing vehicle rollback.

The T2500 is available with a choice of 500Ah, 620Ah lead-acid or a 520Ah maintenance-free gel high capacity batteries offering prolonged operating times.  For applications that require a battery change between shifts, an optional side access battery is available with optional rollers.

Optional battery accessories include Battery fill system (BFS) and low electrolyte level indicator (Blinky), which helps improve battery maintenance by alerting operators when a battery requires water. When paired with the optional battery auto filler, it creates the most effective battery maintenance system for the vehicle.
