12-Tonne Tow Tractor

As standard, the T1200 is equipped with a 20mm pin multi jaw tow hitch with various sizes options to both the front and rear.   To assist coupling, the T1200 includes inching buttons as standard offering ease and precision when aligning tow tractor and trailer. 

The T1200 tow tractor is available with the option to choose from 4 different batteries, all of which take advantage of a powerful 48v output. In busy working factories, warehouses, distribution centres, or other industrial buildings, safety is of paramount importance. The T1200 features electronic speed control to ensure the operator is in control of the vehicle at all times and reducing the chance of accidents. Dynamic speed sensing is included as standard to prevent over-speeding in all directions with the option to limit speeds to 8-14kph and include a high/low-speed switch on the dashboard.

To further improve the safety of the T1200, electronic braking features are included such as hydraulic drum brakes to all wheels and electronic regenerative braking under deceleration as well as automatic hill hold preventing the vehicle rolling while on an incline. The braking system also includes an automatically applied transmission parking brake to ensure complete safety of the vehicle while it is stationary.

All T1200 vehicle models are equipped with a single headlight, twin tail lights, brake lights and an amber flashing beacon mounted on a pole or the cab with the cabbed options also including high-level rear lighting. All models have the option to upgrade with any of our lighting options including the following:

In addition to lighting, the T1200 also comes with a safety seat cut out (OPS) which ensures the vehicle won’t operate unless the driver is seated, emergency stop buttons, horn, and an automatic audible warning in reverse as standard.

We’ve designed the T1200 with its operators in mind offering excellent all-round visibility thanks to its open sides and large rear windscreen. The low single step offers a wider floor area within the vehicle and the suspension seat provides a higher level of driver comfort and control. The T1200 has a reduced torque steering input and power-assisted steering on the 4-wheel model ensuring the vehicle provides comfort during lengthy usage.
