A number of electronic braking systems have been integrated into the PFB500, providing comprehensive and reliable braking at all times. Electronic regenerative braking under deceleration as well as dynamic speed sensing to prevent over-speeding in all driving conditions ensure the safety of the operator, pedestrians, and the surrounding environment. In addition, an automatically applied transmission parking brake ensures the vehicle remains stationary when not in use.
The PFB500 is equipped with a powerful 24V DC controller, however, there is the option to choose either a 24V 185Ah lead-acid (4 x 6volt monobloc linked in series) or a 24V 154Ah gel maintenance-free (4 x 6volt monobloc linked in series) power supply, depending on individual requirements.
All Bradshaw EV vehicles are designed with safety at their core and the PFB500 is no exception. The pedestrian load carrier features an amber flashing warning beacon as standard, but also has the option to include front, side, tail and brake lights, as well as indicators, hazard warning lights, reverse light, and a 7-pin trailer socket. To further enhance safety, the PFB500 features a robust, ergonomically designed Curtis IP rated tiller head unit, the option to choose a maximum speed setting when ordering, emergency stop button at waist-height, horn, and an automatic audible warning in reverse. The ergonomic design and robust safety features maximises vehicle productivity while minimising operator fatigue.
To ensure the PFB500 meets the requirements of those working across many different industries, the load carrier is fully customisable. As standard, the vehicle features a plywood deck board, however, this can be upgraded to any of the following:
