This month sees Bradshaw relaunch the #PinkBuggy charity campaign. The popular pink Club Car Precedent i2 golf buggy is again being delivered free of charge by Bradshaw to golf courses, where it will be used to raise money in aid of the British Heart Foundation.
“After last year’s success, we were always going to bring back another charity buggy campaign”, said Stephen Turner, Director of Golf at Bradshaw. ”We drew up all sorts of plans for different colours and designs, but from December, we were already receiving calls for the return of the PinkBuggy. It just seemed to strike a chord with our customers. Their club members loved using it and of course, posting their pics on social media!”
For the second year running, PinkBuggy will be appearing at participating golf courses across the South and East of England for one week at a time. Each course hires out the buggy to club members in the normal way, but 100% of the income received for it, is donated to the British Heart Foundation. Appearance dates are sometimes arranged to tie-in with special events or charity days, already taking place at the clubs.
Bradshaw supplies Club Car vehicles to golf courses in Cambs, Lincs, Essex, Kent, East and West Sussex, Surrey and Hampshire. They would love to hear from golf clubs in any of these regions that want to participate in the charity campaign.
Drew Bradshaw, MD, was delighted when the British Heart Foundation agreed to come on board this year, as Bradshaw’s charity partner. “The work they do is great, with donations used to fund life saving research. In fact, we’ve decided to organise CPR training for all our staff during this year, as a result of the campaign. It only takes 30 mins per person max and how amazing, that any one of our team will be able to save a life, if they were called upon.”
