Bradshaw took part in this year’s Deepings Raft Race, which took place at the beginning of August.
The team of Bradshaw Service Engineers took to the water for the second year running, taking part in the Fun Race to raise money for Teenage Cancer Care.
With the theme this year being ‘movie characters’, the team dressed up as Stormtroopers, blasting their way to end the race in 4th place, crossing the finishing line in 26 minutes and 44 seconds.
Not only was the race a fun day but the Bradshaw team raised a total of £250 for Teenage Cancer Trust, a huge thank you to all those that sponsored the team.
The Deeping’s Raft Race is run by a small committee of volunteers with all profits going to good causes. A total of 41 rafts were on the river this year, which is the most that there has been for a few years.
