Bradshaw, UK supplier of Club Car golf buggies and utility vehicles, is delighted to announce our Pink Buggy Campaign has raised £2,000 in aid of British Heart Foundation.
Bradshaw customised a pink Club Car Precedent i2 golf buggy. It was delivered free-of-charge to participating golf club customers for a week at a time. Each golf club donated 100% of the pink buggy’s rental proceeds to the British Heart Foundation campaign.
This year, the customised pink Club Car Precedent i2 golf buggy was hosted by Girton, Boston West, Ilford, Stonelees, Hever Castle, Thorpe Wood and Lamberhurst golf clubs.
In Peterborough, Bradshaw staff also held a Wear it Red day at their headquarters, which included setting up a company Tuck Shop featuring cakes and healthy treats.
The company also worked with BHF to host CPR workshops, at which staff learned how to respond in the event of a heart attack taking place.
A cheque was presented by Bradshaw Financial Director (David Earl) and Bradshaw employees, to BHF Fundraising Manager, Nigel Cole on Tuesday 19th December 2017.
Drew Bradshaw, Joint Managing Director of Bradshaw said, “What a great partnership we’ve had this year with British Heart Foundation. It’s been brilliant seeing the smiles that PinkBuggy has generated for our customers and their club members out on the green. I’d also like to thank BHF for running our CPR training days. I attended myself and I know we’ll all feel more confident if called upon.”
Emma Stutz, Marketing Manager of Bradshaw said, “We’ve been proud to join the Fight for Every Heartbeat with BHF. I first learned about the important work they do on a volunteer placement before starting my role at Bradshaw Electric Vehicles. It’s made the campaign with our golf club customers even more important, because I could speak from the heart – literally. We’ve absolutely loved seeing all the photos that have been shared on social media. The best one has to be the Greenkeeper’s gorgeous dog at Stonelees surveying the grounds from #PinkBuggy – just brilliant!”
Nigel Cole, Fundraising Manager for BHF, said, “We want to say a huge thank you to each and every club member who donated funds to our work through this fantastic campaign. Our research is powered by your support and donations. I enjoyed visiting many of the clubs to see PinkBuggy in action and chatting to our local volunteers, many of whom are also club members. It’s been a really innovative way to raise funds and awareness of our work. We’ve loved taking part. The money Bradshaw has raised with customers will make a real difference to people’s lives.”
