T100 supplied to Peterborough City Hospital for new passenger service

Bradshaw Electric Vehicles provided Peterborough City Hospital with a T100 passenger conversion for its new buggy service for less mobile patients.

The Bradshaw buggy, funded by the Friends of Peterborough Hospitals Trust charity, is making life easier for patients and visitors requiring transport around the large hospital site near Bretton.
Operated by volunteers, the new three-seater vehicle is based on the Bradshaw Tow Tractor T100, built especially for the trust, tailored to suit their requirement.
The buggy operates across the ground floor of the extensive site, transporting patients and visitors who struggle with their mobility. It runs from the hospital’s main atrium and is driven by Trust volunteers who have been specially trained for the role.

“Ensuring patients have ease of access within this environment has always been high on the agenda,“ explains Drew Bradshaw, joint managing director at Bradshaw Electric Vehicles.
“With many new hospital sites encompassing more services, and being set in larger grounds, we are increasingly asked
to supply vehicles, taking patients from car parks into the main areas of the hospital. Supplying the electric buggy
to Peterborough City Hospital is a great local example of this.”

The decision to purchase the vehicle came after concerns were raised about the distance people needed to walk to get their appointments and the hospital decided to look for an alternative to a wheelchair.
Bradshaw Electric Vehicles offer a bespoke service, whatever your need is, we can help.
